About the Event

In January 2024, Eugene presented a CPCA Webinar topic entitled, "Walking with Suffering" resulting in the greatest amount of positive feedback I have received pertaining to past webinars. Our chaplains requested I consider Eugene for a future presentation, so in response to your requests, I've brought Eugene back for a training presentation on, "Keeping Emotionally and Spiritually Grounded While Supporting Police Officers and Staff."

Being “undone” by the suffering that chaplain’s witness can shake us to our core. Sometimes chaplains are not aware that they are in “suffering overload” and they cannot respond in a compassionate way. This interactive workshop will focus on how “walking with” frontline police officers can undo us emotionally and spiritually in a way that can go undetected.
